In light of the evolving situation related to the COVID-19 outbreak, Micronova has activated their Business Continuity Plan – SOP 90.1800 – and will continue manufacturing operations to support critical customers. The Company meets at least 3 of the critical infrastructure sectors as defined by US Homeland Security www.cisa.gov/identifying-critical -infrastructure-during-covid-19
Micronova will be operating extended manufacturing hours* with some possible interruptions to production flow and lead times over the coming months. Irradiated product may be impacted due to extended lead times at outside contracting plants.
To ensure a safe and healthy work environment for staff, guidance from state and federal authorities, CDC and WHO, is being closely followed to include:
- revised shifts* to limit numbers of staff onsite during manufacturing hours
- staggered breaks and lunches
- provision of additional cleaning and disinfection stations and practices
- social distancing
- prohibition of outside visitors
- clear guidelines for ‘work from home’ and ‘stay at home’ status
