Micronova Launches Isolator and Compounding Room cleaning kits ( for Hospitals and Pharmacies) to facilitate compliance with USP 797.

Micronova Mfg. Torrance, CA has introduced a series of Compounding Room and Isolator Cleaning Kits to complement its specialized mop range. The kits are designed to make selection of compliant and efficient cleaning equipment much simpler for pharmacies and small compounding areas. Each kit includes a mop unit designed for the particular application along with support hardware and specialized wipes.

The Isolator unit has a stainless steel adapter designed to deal with the challenges of tight corners, angles and confined pass-thru space common in Isolators and Compounding hoods. The compounding kits comprise a versatile mop adapter with corresponding slip covers and accessories – small, stackable double bucket and wringer - to clean larger surfaces and equipment. The polyester mop heads and hardware hold up to autoclave and strong disinfectants and can be extended to different lengths by tapping in to a variety of stainless steel handles.

In addition to the kits Micronova has created a portfolio of products that address the specific challenges found in pharmacies and compounding areas. These include Cuff Sealing tape for securing the glove to the garment, irradiated tape for color coding and labeling, Silicone impregnated wipes for lubricating seals and gaskets and NovaHol detergent with alcohol for cleaning acrylic panels and vinyl sheets and curtains.
